US citizen here in Ssschile. Going to go back to the US for the first time in a long time. What do you do for travel medical insurance? I have called my Chilean bank, they told me: “we don’t know,” (typical) and called World Nomads: “no coverage.” What do you all use when you go back to the US? Danke.
Need to purchase an expat policy WITH USA COVERAGE. And that coverage should be really high.
Maybe combine that with some sort of air evac plan to get back to Chile ASAP where you will then be covered at a minimum as a resident by FONASA with private option assuming you are paying into FONASA.
