CADEM, the most widely diffused of the local public opinion polls, includes one-off questions reflecting current events. The latest one included the question:
Which country leader most closely resembles the main local presidential candidates?
Here’s the results.
Perhaps paradoxically, I find Johannes Kaiser to be closer to Boric, ie, he’s a dark horse with no experience and who, like Boric, has made sweeping and extreme declarations that may be impossible to implement, and may further polarize the country.
Also, I think that comparing the genuinely religious Kast to an outright grifter only shows how well the left has succeeded in its smear campaigns.
