I am Constitución, Chile right now. Before 9:30 pm the bombero sirens sounded for I think 6 times and I realized that we are 6 hours from the anniversary of 2010 when half the city got washed away.

How time flies, I was and am still living in Llolleo, the northernmost continental Chile location with loss of life from the tsunami when the Camping of Llolleo was swamped by waves in less than 15 minutes after the megaquake destroying 200 cabinas with a loss of 5 lives. Would have been a lot more but most Chileans know what you need to do after a quake of that size.

Weird. It seems like just yesterday and so long ago at the same time.
