If I were Venezuela, I too would say no.
And, of course, there are conflicting reports of why the flight wasn’t given permission to land.
I would build a big Bukele-style prison in the middle of the Atacama with a Jumbo-sized airstrip beside it.
Then I would imprison all the serious-crime illegals there, and inform their respective governments, “you want them, come and get them” otherwise they stay locked up after finishing their sentences.
Nah, it’ll never happen…
