A view from Bolivia

While many Chileans refuse to see the potential disasters that await their country, others see things differently.

Here’s what an Horacio Pope, an opposition Bolivian politician, thinks of the Boric government and Chile’s future:

… an example of these consequences was the joy shown by the leaders of the MAS in Bolivia upon learning of [Boric’s] victory, and Pope warns that by considering himself as heir to Salvador Allende, Boric will bring ruin to Chile.”**

The upshot is that with delusions of grandeur often also come delusions of competence both of which are impediments to changing anything

Boric can fancy himself a big mac. It doesnt mean he is going to have 2 golden arches spring up over his head like some kind of fastfood halo :melting_face:
