I thought the article started well with the first two points.
Point 3 I am not sure is true. For Argentina yes, but in general if you look at the evidence right wing governments don’t improve the economy more than left wing. In the UK, they clearly made it worse due to Brexit and Liz Truss crashing the economy a bit with bad policy.
Point 5 is true for the US I think, in that woke progressives became a little out of touch with where most people are for a while, but I think that’s corrected. I also don’t think those culture wars are that big outside of the US, and where are they are it’s just educated elites following US news. The average person in Chile or South America isn’t thinking about the culture wars issues as much. People talk to me about economy, crime and immigration frequently, but it’s very rare anyone gives to me an opinion on abortion or trans rights, for instance.
