What is "Isla" honey?

Hey again all,

I purchased two kilos of honey from a farmer. He said one was “multiflor” (multi-flower), while the other was “isla.”

I then asked him what that meant or where it was from. However, as the convo progressed, I realized that I was speaking to an old school, genuine, idiot.

Long story short, he has no idea which way is up.

Does anyone know what “isla” is? I have purchased multiflor, ulmo, etc. in the past but have never seen this.

Thanks

curtez

I would guess he is talking about Chiloé Honey since a Google search reveals that this variety is sold.
