Funning thing is one of my little kids saw something like this at night. The light entered her room through a window facing a forest and river in IX and then materialized into what she described as an old ancient shepherd with a staff but the entire figure including staff was white: robes, staff, everything. She said the staff had unrecognizable etchings of writing unknown characters on it..she didnt recognize the script. It just stared at her motionless at the end of her bed. Then it became a ball of light again and left/floated through the window. She said she felt safe and protected…versus a fear or terror reaction to the presence.
I had never heard of these mapuche bad lights before and I dont know why they are “bad” according to the Mapuche, but I wonder if somehow the bad lights are connected to what my daughter experienced.
