Just wanted to say my first experience with the instant large temblor to terremoto cell alert system a couple of days ago seemed to work well.
Phone alerted with a different sound than the previous tsunami and fire alerts and sounded almost two seconds before the movement was felt in Llolleo from offshore Quintero to the nearby north.
Got the usual click pundits saying a bigger one is on the way this month (of course, this is Chile) with one claiming that the long awaited Valpo 9+ megaquake will happen between 4-4:30 AM this Sunday the 7th which means the depto I’m in will probably crush me so just in case you don’t hear from me afterwards…
