18–19 November 2021 Partial Lunar Eclipse

Time in Santiago

Penumbral Eclipse begins 19 Nov, 03:02:09
Partial Eclipse begins 19 Nov, 04:18:42
Maximum Eclipse 19 Nov, 06:02:55

Partial lunar eclipses tend not to be very good, and sometimes you can hardly tell any difference to a regular one (EDIT: By which I meant to say that the moon just looks the same as usual, you can hardly tell an eclipse is going on.) Probably not worth getting up in the middle of the night for. Still, I could be wrong. So , if anyone sees it, let us know how it went.

Sky is clear, the moon is still visible, but clouds are forming rapidly. The last night was cloudy, and this night is willing to follow.
